The 22nd World Cup will be the 5th in Cristiano Ronaldo's great career and of course his last as the years go by. The great Portuguese striker is already in his 37th year of age, so fortunately he does not have time to give the present in 2026. So Cristiano believes that the World Cup in Qatar will be the best of all time, while he did not hide that he dreams of let the pair Portugal - Brazil be the final!

Cristiano Ronaldo, speaking about this year's World Cup and especially about the fact that the event will be held in the winter, said:

"It's a good feeling to compete in these types of events at the end of the year. It's interesting, a challenge, something different. For me, I think it's good and I'm excited. This will be my 5th World Cup and I'm very happy about it, as well as playing in another World Cup."

He then talked about Qatar's weather

"The weather is not a problem for me. We are prepared like professional footballers, we are able to play in all conditions. So in my opinion, it will be good because I like the warmer climate."

For a possible final between Brazil and Portugal said: "I hope so. I joke with Casemiro and say that the final will be Portugal - Brazil. It will be a dream to be honest. We are talking about the World Cup, the most difficult competition in the world. I dream about it, I know it will be hard, but dreams are free. For me the most important thing is to be there and compete. I think it will probably be the best World Cup ever."

Then Cristiano who trains with his peer, stopper, Pepe where the two of them together have 319 appearances for their national team and continue undaunted. They expect Fernando Santos to present a particularly combative group that will cause enough damage to opposing teams.

The class of these two great footballers, however, is not the only weapon of Fernando Santos, since the completeness in all lines of the Portuguese national team is evident. The trio of goalkeepers Rui Patricio, Jose Za and Diogo Costa is one of the best.

In defense the 2/4 consists of the excellent Joao Cancelo and Ruben Dias of Manchester City. Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva and Milan's explosive Rafael Leao form an impressive fullness across the lines for the Iberians aiming for the best possible result.
