Chelsea wins 3-0 and deservedly becomes new world champion
The "Blues" defeated PSG with authority and secured their second Club World Cup title.
Chelsea... shocked the European champion, Paris Saint-Germain, at the packed Metlife Stadium in New Jersey. The team of the Italian, Enzo Maresca prevailed 3-0 at its own party and lifted the renewed and expanded Club World Cup, leaving Paris in the "cold water"

The European champion was the logical favorite before the game. Everyone, as at least they had watched them in the 4-0 victory over Real Madrid in the semi-final, claimed that they would lift the 5th title this season. But things turned out completely differently. And we all know that the playing field is the mirror and judge of every team. The European champion not only did not make history, but on the contrary, as the game unfolded, they should be happy that they only lost 3-0.
Chelsea, the holder of the Conference League, which had difficulty securing its exit to the upcoming Champions League, had an amazing Cole Palmer who did things and wonders and, most importantly, the London team had passion and a great thirst for success. Thus, they rightfully prevailed 3-0, conquering the expanded Club World Cup, in the presence of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, as well as his FIFA counterpart, Gianni Infantino and of course the top administrative leader and owner of Paris, Nasser Al-Khelaifi. On the contrary, UEFA president, Aleksander Čeferin, did not attend!.
So, after the Conference, the Blues also won the World Cup, putting an end to an incredible year.
Palmer is the leader
The amazing English left-footed midfielder, Cole Palmer, masterfully held the baguette, setting the pace and tone of the match. Palmer scored two wonderful goals in the 22nd minute after an excellent effort by Justo, opened the scoring and in the 30th minute with a fantastic feint and a highly impressive place scored the 2-0. . Chelsea's players had the freshness, but the essence and in the 43rd minute they scored a third goal. Cole Palmer provided an assist and Brazilian newly acquired (from Brighton) Brazilian forward Joao Pedro made it 3-0.
The second half found Paris Saint-Germain trying to get back into the game but this was impossible as Maresca's team performed excellently both as a whole and in terms of the performance of each of its players individually, to celebrate their second major title of the 2024-25 season after the Conference League last May. The Parisians finished the game with ten players, as Portuguese Pedro Neves grabbed Cucurreja from... nowhere and saw the red card.
Ultimately, Chelsea has proven that it is a club born to compete in finals at European and World level and win them. And this is exactly the image that has accompanied her throughout time, she made sure to confirm on Sunday night (13/7), New Jersey.
The final was not ... calm
Chelsea may have been the big winner of the final, but the final was not only full of smiles, but also... a fight. Joao Pedro got into a fight with the Parisians, with Luis Enrique hitting him and throwing him to the ground. The goalkeeper, Donnarumma, was also there, who had a lot of nerves with the Blue players. Thus, we had a conflict on the field. Fortunately, it lasted for a while, since the calmer ones separated them without the incidents becoming widespread.

Big money
FIFA president Gianni Infantino said, "The Club World Cup was a huge success, we were able to secure more than 2 billion dollars in revenue, that is, about 31 million per game."
The big winner Chelsea collected about 112 million while the finalist Paris about 106 million. Third on the relevant list is Real Madrid with 75.80 million while the top five is completed by Fluminense (55.94 million) and Bayern (53.54 million).
