Roy Hodgson in Crystal Palace regrets

After the management of Crystal Palace saw that things are not progressing well at all with the Frenchman, Patrick Vieira decided on March 21, 2023, that is, after 4 years, and hired the experienced Englishman Roy Hodgson as coach again. The 75-year-old technician thus returned to the London team, after 2021, when he had left its bench. The former England coach has been doing very well since then, recently crushing Leeds United 5-1 away from home and securing a "safety cushion" for his team in the battle to stay in the Premier League.

Hodson's team thus rose to 12th place in the general standings with 36 points. The experienced coach made it two in two since he returned to the "Eagles" bench, while Palace were without a win for 13 consecutive games before his arrival!

"It's a perfect start, training is great, the sun is shining and it's nice to be back. The players were good before I came and now they are showing it again. I have to enjoy the moments as I know they won't last forever."

The management of the London "Eagles" should now feel vindicated after choosing to re-hire 75-year-old Roy Hodgson.

The most impressive thing about 75-year-old Hodgson's new 'tenure' at the club is that since the day he took over the Eagles have scored nine goals in their last three Premier League games, which they had recorded in their previous... 16 matches in the league, i.e. from last November until last month. It remains to be seen if Crystal Palace will continue this upward trend...
