Oshimen leads Napoli as Diego Armando Maradona to win a title that is getting closer

Victor Osimhen, striker of Napoli SS

Napoli look unassailable in this year's Serie A after an impressive run from the start of the season and still running at an unimaginable pace that the other title contenders can't threaten them with halfway through the season.

Its latest victim was Sassuolo with Luciano Spalletti's blue armada winning 0-2 in Mapei Stadium in the bottom of the Campionato.

Victor Osinhem having scored in his side's last seven games (9 goals in eight games) and becoming the first to do so since Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuain in 2015-16.

The Nigerian ferocious centre-forward therefore managed to tie a great record that he held for 7 years and belonged to Gonzalo Higuain, another great footballer who had distinguished himself in the Napoli shirt.

The course of Oshimen

The extremely wonderful course of the Nigerian forward Victor Osinhem began in the summer of 2020. When the management of Napoli headed by De Laurentiis took care and acquired Oshimen from the French Lille. Her move turned out to be golden, with the Nigerian striker doing wonders for the team from the Italian south. In his maiden season in Serie A he stopped at 10 goals in 24 appearances and last year he reached 15 goals in 28 matches, with his launch happening this year.

And that's because he now has 18 goals in 19 matches he's played, with the 24-year-old being the Campionato's top scorer and leading Luciano Spalletti's team's bid for the third championship in its history.

In fact, after his goal against Cremonese on Sunday night, he made history twice. And that's because he scored for the sixth consecutive league match with the shirt of Napoli and equaled the record of Gonzalo Higuain.

Furthermore, with 17 goals he already surpassed the legendary Diego Maradona who had 16 goals in 28 matches in the season Napoli won their last league title (1989-1990), with Oshimen counting down to celebrate at the end of the season the third scudetto for the team from the Italian South.

Oshimen is already the bone of contention of several powerful and rich clubs in Europe, so one thing is certain: The management of Napoli will come out victorious no matter what, and of course the footballer...
