PSG is galloping towards another title in Ligue 1. After two consecutive draws, the Parisians returned to success.

PSG defeated at Olympique Lyon and consolidated its leadership in Ligue 1.

Thanks to two goals in the first quarter, Paris Saint-Germain managed to beat Lyon 3-1 and jump to +7 from second-placed Marseille.

The hosts were even lucky to build a winning foundation very early on. Initially, in the 8th minute, international Dembele found himself in a shooting position in the area and wrote 1-0, while in the 14th minute, Vitinia raised the score to 2-0 with a well-aimed penalty.

Nevertheless, Lyon managed to return to the match in the 40th minute when Tserki managed to find a passage for a pass between three opponents and bring out the international Georgian striker, Mikautadze in a tete-a-tete position, who in turn executed a beautiful lob to Donnarumma to reduce to 2-1.

And in the 88th minute, 3-1 was achieved with Portuguese forward Gonzalo Ramos who scored the third goal from close range and sealed the victory for the Parisians.

Khelaifi's response

We must note that with this victory, Paris also gave an answer to Lyon's major shareholder, American John Textor, who had declared that "Paris is not a team, but a state". And the top administrative leader of the Parisians, Nasser Al Khelaifi, had replied "They are insulting Paris and French football". And now his team comes and gives a paid answer to Mr. Textor
