Kai Havertz as Chelsea player in 2021

One breath away from Arsenal is Chelsea's German international midfielder Kai Havertz, Mikel Arteta's Premier League second-placed side have come to terms with Mauricio Pochettino's and will now pay £65,000,000. euros to complete its acquisition.

After three years in London with the shirt of Chelsea (acquired in 2020 from Bayer Leverkusen for the amount of 82 million euros), Kai Havertz is one breath away from changing camp, but not the city.

The English capital will still be his base, only he will ditch the blues to wear the reds. All that remains to complete the deal is for the footballer to discuss the personal terms of his contract and successfully pass his medical, while Arsenal are in the hunt for yet another front-line player: West Ham's Declan Rice.

Arsenal finished in 2nd place in the Premier League as they could not withstand the relentless pursuit of Manchester City. The gunners are therefore preparing for the new season and wish to present themselves as strong as possible.

The 24-year-old Havertz this season has played in 47 games in all competitions, achieving 9 goals and one assist.
