Juventus looks ready to regain the championship in Italy, but let's see what Inter, Milan and Roma, Napoli think

Juve against Inter in the Italian football classic

Serie A is the highest football league (Calcio) in Italy starts this weekend (13-14/8) and as always it will offer thrills and its own special spectacle. The league has changed form since the 2004/05 season, as the number of teams has increased from 18 to 20.

When two or more teams have the same points, they count from here on some criteria: points in the games between them, goal difference in the matches between them, total goal difference, and total goals scored.

According to the final standings, the top four teams enter the UEFA Champions League group stage. The bottom three teams in Serie A are relegated to Italy's second division, Serie B.

In this year's summer transfer window, which of course lasts until September 1st, it is a fact that Juventus made a very strong impact. The "old lady" of Italian football who last year did not do well at all, inside and outside the borders (just barely managed to finish 4H in the end) this year made impressive additions, with the aim of taking the championships again.

The team of Andrea Agnelli (owner and president) and Max Allegri (coach) after closing the free agents, Paul Pogba (Man. United), Angel Di Maria (PS Germain), took the excellent Brazilian stopper of Torino, Bremer with 41 million euros. The young central defender of Genoa, Andrea Cambiaso with 8.5 million euros. He paid the clause of 40 million euros in Fiorentina and took the previously loaned, international winger, Federico Chiesa and recently also the Serbian international midfielder of Eintracht Frankfurt Philip Kostic with 12 million euros. Her fans can rightfully feel happy and very optimistic about the new season.

The holder of the title, AC Milan did not spend a lot of money. Maybe because at the moment she is quite open about various financial issues. He took the Belgian international midfielder, Charles De Ketelare for whom he paid Bruges the amount of 32 million euros. The 21-year-old blond midfielder has plenty of qualities and could be the Red Devils' next big star.

Also with 8.5 he got the Brazilian midfielder, Julio Messias of Crotone. Roma's extreme international full-back, Alessandro Florenzi, and the free-from-Liverpool, Belgian forward, Divork Origi. She will definitely be one of the protagonists, but probably not again for the 1st place.

Inter with the very good coach, Simone Inzaghi, despite the financial problems, fought until the end, regardless of whether he did not succeed. Now with the return of the ferocious forward, Romelu Lukaku (on loan from Chelsea for 8 million euros) it will logically appear stronger. He also took Cagliari defender Raul Bellanova for €3m. The free Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana from Ajax. The extreme midfielder Henrik Michtarian who was free from Roma. The Albanian midfielder, Cristian Aslani from Emboli with 4 million euros and for whom good words are heard and the Argentinian forward of Lazio, Joaquin Correa paying 24 million euros.

Big question marks are both Roma and Napoli. The Eternal City side have made good additions by signing Paris Saint-Germain's Dutch midfielder Wijnaldum on loan. The free agent from Juventus, Argentinian midfielder, Paulo Dybala. The Turkish defender of the French Lille, Zeki Celik with 7 million euros. The Serbian goalkeeper, Mile Svilar (he was free from Benfica) as well as the also free, midfielder, Nemanja Matic (Man. United). Much or everything depends on how Mourinho will present the team.

And in the team of the South, Napoli, its president, De Laurentiis proceeded to renew the soulful potential. He took the Georgian left winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia for 10 million euros to Dinamo Batumi. With another 11 million euros, he got the Uruguayan defender Mathias Olivera from Getafe. The international goalkeeper, Salvatore Sirigu on a free transfer from Genoa. South Korean defender Min-jae Kim from Fenerbahce for a fee of 18m. The Norwegian defender Leo Ostigard from Brighton for a fee of 5m. And the Cameroonian midfielder Andre Zambo Anguissa from Fulham for a fee of 15m. All the weight here will fall on her coach, Luciano Spalletti who took over her reins from 21/5/2021...
