Gilberto Mora, the 6th youngest footballer in the history of the World Cup
The Tijuana player has already played in nine international matches for the Mexican national team at just 17 years old. Yesterday he made his World Cup debut against South Africa.
Gilberto Mora who played in the premiere of the 23rd World Cup 2026 (entered as a substitute in the second half for the Mexican team). Thus, at the age of 17.5 years, he became the 6th youngest footballer in the history of the institution.
