Cristiano Ronaldo great star of Portugal National Team

38-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo made history! During the match against Liechtenstein in the opening of the Euro 2024 qualifiers, he scored for the 20th consecutive year in the shirt of the representative group of his country. Cristiano, can be proud that in this particular game, he sent the ball into the opponent's net twice which gave him the opportunity to reach 120 goals in his international career, having at least one with the Portugal jersey from 2004 until now.

At the same time, he thus reached 197 appearances with the national emblem in all national team competitions. The Portuguese on December 10 playing against Morocco for the quarter-finals of the World Cup 2022 had equaled the all-time record of Bander Al Mutawa of Kuwait. And on Thursday night (23/3) against Liechtenstein he demolished it as he played for Portugal for the 197th time. He thus entered the history books as the footballer with the most appearances at national team level. A fact that certainly boasts...
