He gradually climbed the ladder, he belongs to the generation that at the age of 14- 15 years old "locked" inside due to Covid-19, in 2021 he was out for several months due to a knee injury, but then... he took off.

At the age of 17, he was loaned out at the beginning of the 2022/23 season to Grafichar to get performances from the B-division league. With five goals in eight matches, he was such a catalyst that Asteras took him back in September, when the until then main forward, Milan Pavkov, was offered a contract worth millions and left for Saudi Arabia. In fact, Mijatovic got the jersey with No. 9, a heavy jersey especially for a kid who had just turned 17 years old.
