Igor Tudor's Juventus (their coach and officially until the summer of 2027) put in a highly convincing performance in their Club World Cup debut, sending a message in every direction. They crushed Al Ain 5-0 in Washington, in a match for Group 7.

Randal Kolo Muani and Francisco Conceicao scored two goals each, while Alberto Costa and Kefren Thuram shared two assists each.

The 36-time Italian champion, ... cleaned up the game from the very first half. They scored four goals. French international forward Kolo Muani opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a powerful header. The diminutive Portuguese winger, Paco Conceicao doubled the lead in the 21st minute with exceptional individual energy.

The 3-0 was made in the 31st minute by the talented Turkish midfielder, Kenan Yildiz, with a shot from outside the area that hit the post and ended up in the net. Kolo Muani doubled his own goal tally in the 45th+4th minute, sending the “Old Lady” to the locker room with a four-goal lead. The young Conceicao completed his goal tally in the 58th minute, making it 5-0 with a powerful shot from outside the area, in a moment that showcased his creativity and clear mind.

The «Old Lady's»  goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio made five saves, keeping his goal intact. The 36-time Italian champions showed complete superiority, with the 18,161 spectators (most of whom wore Juventus shirts) cheering their team on. On the other hand, Dubai's Al Ain were unable to put up any resistance and are preparing for a much tougher test against world champions Manchester City on Sunday.

Juventus, who are now top of Group G thanks to goal difference, will face Wydad Casablanca in Philadelphia with the aim of qualifying for the next phase.
