Igor Tudor stayed at the helm of Tottenham for just 44 days
Tudor resigned by mutual consent with Tottenham Hotspur after of only add one win in seven games in Premier League.
47 year old Igor Tudor resigned by mutual consent (this is the official explanation) with Tottenham Hotspur, just 44 days after his hiring on February 14.
The Croatian coach has won just 1 league point in 7 matches, while the team has lost four times in the last five Premier League games. His coaching colleagues
Tomislav Rogić (goalkeeping coach) and
Riccardo Ranacci (fitness coach) have also left.
The recent 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest was the "swan song" for the Croatian manager, leaving Tottenham in 17th place, just one point above the relegation zone. Something that puts the "spurs" in an extremely difficult position.
Tuttor's only victory in charge of Tottenham came in the UEFA Champions League against Atletico Madrid, but the team was eliminated after a 5-2 defeat in the first leg in Spain.
Roberto De Zerbi is the favorite
With the departure of the Croatian, Tottenham is looking for its third coach of the season, while there have already been contacts with the Italian, Roberto De Zerbi, for a possible replacement.
Tottenham are without a win in 13 league games, their worst run since the 1934-35 season, with relegation from the top flight remaining the biggest concern for Spurs fans.
