The brazilian forward has agreed to move to the Blaugrana at the end of this season

Roberto Firmino With Liverpool FC in 2018

Roberto Firmino, the Brazilian forward of Liverpool, is going to Spain. At least this is what the latest information from London says, as until recently the footballer was very close to Italy and Juventus.

But now the 31-year-old international forward, as he has spoken for several hours with both the Barcelona coach and another member of the administration, seems to have agreed to move to the Blaugrana at the end of this season. Firmino therefore, after 8 years in Liverpool, made the decision to become a resident of Barcelona without the details of his contract having yet been made public.

The 31-year-old Brazilian striker was acquired by the Reds in the summer of 2015 as he was then playing for the German TSG Hoffenheim and the English team paid the amount of 35 million euros.

With the Liverpool jersey, he has celebrated winning the UEFA Champions League in 2019, the Premier League championship in 2020, the Cup, the League Cup and the Super Cup. He recently informed his coach, Jurgen Klopp, that he wishes to leave Liverpool in the summer as a free agent. So Barcelona made sure to move immediately…

In the presence of the Pole, Robert Lewandowski, Firmino probably must have realized that he will be used as a substitute and will not be in the starting line-up...

Κluivert

The former international Dutch forward of Barcelona Patrick Kluivert said characteristically:

“Who would be on my priority list? Financial fair play is something to consider, but there is certainly a need for a striker behind Lewandowski. I really like Gonzalo Ramos. He is excellent with the Portuguese national team and also with Benfica. I think he could be a very interesting footballer in Barcelona, like Roberto Firmino."
