The Dutchman defender signs with The Bavarians until June 2027

Matthijs De Ligt new player of Bayern Múnich

Now only the formalities seem to remain to complete the transfer of Matthias de Ligt to Bayern Munich. And this is because the management of Juventus accepted the last proposal of the Bavarians in the amount of 70 million euros plus 10 million euros bonus.

And just like that, the German champions are preparing to complete their fourth transfer of this summer after Mazraoui , Gravenberch and Mane.

The positive thing for the German team was that from the beginning of their interest in the 23-year-old Dutch central defender, the latter had stated openly and clearly that "I have been a Bayern fan since I was a child" and this played an important role. It enabled the leaders of the German club to move more organized and stubbornly pursue the case, which seems to have a positive end for their team.

The 23-year-old international central defender is expected in Munich in the coming days to sign a five-year contract.

Juventus, for its part, after accepting Bayern's proposal, will now put the amount of 80,000,000 euros into its coffers.

The Italian team will get 70,000,000 euros as a transfer fee and another 10,000,000 as a goal bonus, which convinced the Italians. The latter were initially worth an amount close to 100,000,000 for the 21-year-old Dutchman. Bonuses are divided into 5,000,000 for easy targets and 5,000,000 for harder targets.

"The Bavarians" have already found everything with the international footballer for a contract until the summer of 2027 and now it remains for him to successfully pass the medical tests and put his signature on the agreement, leaving Juventus after three years. During this time the De Ligt has 117 appearances and 8 goals.

Lucas Hernandez

To date, the most expensive deal in the history of Bayern Munich was that of the French defender, Lucas Hernandez who was acquired instead of the sum of 80 million euros from Atletico Madrid.

Arsenal failed to maintain the euphoric atmosphere that existed after the imposing 3-0 win over Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. Their tank was almost... empty, stuck at 1-1 against Brentford, and now Mikel Arteta's team seems to be raising the white flag in the championship battle!. Now Arsenal is turning its attention exclusively to the Champions League, where after the 3-0 win, it seems to have a big lead to qualify for the semi-finals of the top club competition in Europe, if not the world.
