The Rotterdam club 3-0 win over Go Ahead on Sunday (14 May), which marked the 16th Dutch title in their history

Feyenoord champion of Eredivisie 2022-2023

Tens of thousands of fans celebrated Feyenoord's 3-0 win over Go Ahead on Sunday (14 May), which marked the 16th Dutch title in their history.

Arne Slott's team had absolute control of the game and sealed, in awe, the conquest of the title with the goals of Oussama Idrissi 15', Santiago Gimenez 18' and Paixao 54'.

The Dutch coach, Arne Slot, presented a very strong team throughout the season that had a way of getting the results he wanted, while at the same time offering a nice spectacle. Slott basically used the 4-2-3-1 system.

Central forward Santiago Gimenez, left midfielder Oussama Idrissi, central midfielder Sebastian Szymanski, right winger Igor Paixao, midfielder Mats Wieffer and central defender David Hancko contributed significantly to Feyenoord's success.

It should be noted that shortly before the start of the match, the Feyenoord fans raised a giant banner 550 meters long and 11,000 square meters in the crowded "De Cap" with 60 thousand fans!

Vitesse  defeated (bottom of the standings) Cambur 2-0 in Arnhem and effectively secured their stay in the division for next season, two matches before the Eredivisie final.
