The dutch team returns to quaterfinals after 16th years long
Eternity “Johan Cruijff” reminded all of us or at least the older ones the extraordinary appearance of Ajax in Bernabeu opposite Real Madrid. Erik Ten Hag’s footballers forced last year’s European champions to a 4-1 defeat that is the heaviest home in their European history.
At the same time, Ajax became the first team to exclude Real in a knockout series at the top European cross-country event after four years! For accuracy after 3 years, 9 months and 20 days (a total of 1,392 days). He was ahead of Juventus when the 2014-15 season in the semifinals, where 2-1 in Torino prevailed and 1-1 in Madrid. He was so qualified in the Berlin final where he would face Barcelona.
The Dutch team was playing football. He did not let the paid-up Santiago Solari players almost take a breath. They have solemnly qualified in the Champions League quarterfinals for the first time since 2002-03.

The amazing Tadic
Ajax scored three surprising goals (Ziyech 7, Neres 18′ ), having as leader Tadic who scored a goal (62) and had two assists and Schone 72. In the 70’s Asencio had reduced. This defeat is the biggest in Real’s history as it leaves it out for the first time after 9 years of the quarter-finals of the event.
It should be noted that Ajax’s third goal raised a big debate about whether he had to count and of course whether the VAR should be used, as at the beginning of the ball the ball had a side goal in favor of Real that was not given. Then he was also examined and the German referee, Mr Brych , scored Tadic’s goal.
Ajax presented a wonderful team, capable of reaching very high. Frenkie de Jong, who has been fighting in Barcelona since summer, was very happy. He took care of pulling out of the “middle” a very strong group, and to show that Spanish was right, he paid the sum of 75 million euros to put him in line with his potential. But it was not only De Yong who was distinguished. All his teammates presented their best person. De Ligt , Schone , Neres, Blind, Tagliafico, Van de Beek, Mazraoui and the goalkeeper, Onana was a punch.

Real for about 10 days has gone from bad to worse. He met two defeats from Barcelona (3-0 cup, 1-0 championship) and generally did not seem to be in very good shape. Of course no one knows if he will remain and how much longer his coach, Santiago Solari.
Just as Ajax did the big break, as in the first game in Amsterdam he lost by 2-1. But his players and the technical leadership had not said their last conversation. They had kept it for the second match, in the historic “Santiago Bernabeu”.
