The Sampdoria`s coach has been free to go at Milan
Marco Giampaolo has agreed to co-operate with Sampdoria and is now free to sign his three-year contract with AC Milan. Sampdoria, Massimo Ferrero and Marco Giampaolo, official president, formally announced after the meeting that both sides agreed to resolve their co-operation by June 30, 2020.
Giampaolo spent three seasons in the Genoa team and made a significant contribution to the club. Together with Giampaolo, their contracts were over and Francesco Conti, Fabio Micarelli, Salvatore Foti and Samuele Melotto
So Giampaolo will now take over the technical leadership of Milan, aiming to bring it back to the next season on the road to success. Her young coach, born in Bellinzona, thanks to Maldini’s trust and his previous knowledge with his new partner, Frederic Massara (both of whom were collaborators at Andria in 1995), has his 10 years of career behind during his whose coach Abruzzo showed the philosophy of his wonderful game.
If we look at Giampaolo’s career, we notice that he has stayed in Genoa’s team for more than one season: the reason, as Giampaolo’s team presidents have explained, is the lack of adaptability of both the technician and as a person: He does not compromise, and this often leads him to confrontation. If the environment does not fully embrace its ideas, if the team is not willing to wait for the results of its work, then it gets its … hat and leaves.
This is the main feature of his career so far. Then he always takes care of ways to apply the same system in a devout way in 4-3-1-2.
Many wonder how the character of Marco Giampaolo can be reconciled with the pressure and urgency of the results necessarily imposed by AC Milan fans. However, we believe that if supported by all the members of the club and the fans then Giampaolo will be able to bring back to the group the memories and passions they experienced before and be all happy.
Besides, the first ever transfer of AC Milan, the midfielder Rude Krunic (appreciated by Giampaolo himself), so it will be easier to adapt to his new team.
Boban and Maldini
Giampaolo may possibly be in some things … a beginner. However, two great men and soccer experts such as Technical Director Paolo Maldini and Croatian Zvonimir Boban, who is the new Football Manager, will be helped here.
Now, what will their role be? Maldini is in charge of translating and programming of different areas, namely the Youth Group at first.
Boban on the other hand will play Marotta’s role when he was in Juventus. He has to work with Paolo Maldini on the sporting track, both for transfers, but will also act as a liaison with the executive director, Ivan Gazidis, on economic and commercial issues.
Besides, Boban should not forget that he left behind the position of the deputy secretary general of FIFA. In addition, Boban will try to improve one of Leonardo’s vacancies in the Leonardo era, the aspect of the (non) communication, as the new manager, beyond the past with Sky and Gazzetta Dello Sport, has the reputation that has human and communicative qualities capable of fostering relationship with the press and consequently with the fans.
After all, reading Boban’s statements and looking at the high position he has been given to continue his career in Milan, he shows that Elliot has plans to restart the team in both sports and finance.
Then Massara will be the one who will be engaged in the detection of new talents, which he knows very well. He was the right arm of Walter Sabatini and would provide solutions on several issues.
100 million deficit
Milan then has a deficit of 100 million euros, and with Gazzidis’s appointment it is clear that he will sell a sale in several important names, such as Donarruma, Suso, Calhanoglou , etc.
So the weight will be given to the acquisition of new and talented footballers such as Kranic gained from the deposed, Empoli …
