Andrea Stramaccioni so 39 years is the new boss of Panathinaikos, one of the largest teams in the country. The agreement concluded with the administration of the greens is for two years and takes to lead the team as high as possible, at a difficult time for her after leaving Yannis Anastasiou.
A former technician of Inter Milan and Udinese he said at the official presentation: “I am very happy and proud that we will work in this great club”.
Mr. Stramaccioni recognized that the time taken by the wheel of Panathinaikos not the best, since it is almost in the middle of the season, but will strive for the best possible. Promises do not want to give. Always vowed that he will give his best to go as well the club is.
Stramaccioni was born in Rome but in football started his career first in Romulo and then in Bologna in 1994. Like most coaches of age failed to make a career as a serious injury forced him to quickly leave active duty. This continued to be in football from another post, that of coach. First Team worked was at the Roma Youth in 2005. It went very well there and immediately his name became widely known. Then in 2012 he made the big jump when he was appointed coach of Inter Milan. He stayed until 2013. After the 2014 season, 15 worked in Udinese and now continues in Greece.
He likes to use basically the system 3-5 2 but changes sometimes depending on the opponent and 4- 3- 3 or even 4–4-1-1. Not afraid of changes either in person or in positions. The purpose of going through the racing philosophy to his players. He likes to discuss with them to learn things for their ability and they prefer to play.
Luciano Cremona for Stramaccioni
Italian journalist of Sky – Italy, Luciano Cremona outlines Andrea Stramaccioni: “Stramaccioni didn´t have a great career as a football player due to an injury. He was very good when he was a coach of young players at Roma. Then Inter called him and he became famous cause he lead Inter to win the Next Gen Series with Inter Primavera
He became coach of the first squad when he was very young. Moratti chose him because he liked to play a nice and offensive football. The match that explain well Stramaccioni´s ideas of football is Juventus-Inter 1-3 (November 2012) when he played in Turin with 3 forwards.
His favourite tactic is 4-3-3. At Inter he had problems due to injuries, while in Udinese he paid for the lack of experience. He is very self confident and I think that this is his main problem: he wants to lead the game but he is not a strong teacher for the defending players.
I think he can do quite well, he is young, he studied english, he knows very well international football cause he is a tv commentator for Fox Sports Italy. For sure he will teach to his players some tricks about free kick and corners”.
